Succulent Container Garden
Succulent Container Garden Project
Full Sun Project
Project Time: 20 Minutes
Create a bowl full of succulents! Fun and easy to care for, succulents need very little water. In fact, we planted this container garden so that water runs off the plants.
Step 1: Choose a container that is 16 - 18 inches wide.
Step 2: Fill the container with the cactus soil, creating a mound in the middle.
Step 3: Take your plants out of their pots and massage the root ball to loosen up the roots. Arrange them in the potting soil and fill in around them with more soil.
Step 4: Top dress the container by tucking reindeer moss around each succulent. This adds a nice finishing touch and also helps hold the soil in place while the plants are rooting in.
Step 5: Water in the container and then find a sunny spot for the container. We've listed the plants used in this project, however, there are many varieties of succulents to choose. Pick out your favorites and mix and match to build your own creation. Stop by today and we can help you get started!
