Late Winter Container
Late Winter Container Project
Project Time: 20 - 30 Minutes
Brighten up winter days with this colorful container garden. Bold colors of Primrose are the star while ferns and ivy add foliage & texture.
Step 1: Choose a 12" to 14" container.
Step 2: Fill the pot about 1/2 full with potting soil. Add Dr. Earth Root Zone fertilizer for a healthy start.
Step 3: Place plants according to the diagram beginning with item A - Autumn Fern.
Step 4: Add more potting soil for the 4 inch Primrose and Ivy. Add soil until the Primrose and Ivy are level with the fern.
Step 5: Place plants according to the diagram for item (B - 4 inch Primrose.)
Step 6: Place plants according to the diagram for item (C - 4 inch Ivy.)
Step 7: Add a little more Dr. Earth Root Zone.
Step 8: Fill in around the plants with potting soil.
Step 9: Water in thoroughly.
